47-Year-Old DC Woman Dies of COVID-19

A 47-year-old woman has died of COVID-19, Washington, D.C., health officials said Tuesday. The woman is the 1,160th D.C. resident to die from the coronavirus, according to D.C.’s health department. Metro Watchdog Safety Report Flags Fatigued Train Operators

Metro’s train and bus operators could be coming to the job tired and physically unfit to perform their duties, according to a report issued Tuesday by the transit agency’s top safety watchdog.  The Washington Metrorail Safety Commission flagged potential safety risks related to fatigued operators.
